APPLIED EPIDEMIOLOGY ONLINE

 

The Applied Epidemiology course is designed as a series of 13 self directed modules that are completed at the participant’s own rate. Informal criterion testing occurs at the end of each module with course instructors, prior to progressing on to the next module. Time to completion of all modules will vary with each individual.

The live version of this course is offered once a year and is conducted over an eight-day period at an off-site location.

Prerequisite: There is a prerequisite for this course - Principles of Epidemiology in Public Health Practice (CDC Self-Study Course SS1000). Each health department should have a copy of this course. A limited number of copies are available on loan by contacting the Center's librarian.
