Both public health and hospital settings have designated permanent emergency response coordinator roles that are filled as full-time or part-time jobs. These positions cover a range of responsibilities for which there is little or no organized training. Both settings have an overlap of necessary knowledge so this workshop contains combined sessions and setting-specific breakout sessions. The curriculum was designed drawing on those with expertise in the field.
