HOSPITAL FIRST RECEIVER COURSE

 

The First Receiver course is a DHS approved program that meets the guidelines for OSHA First Receiver Awareness and Operations Levels training. This 2-day hands-on training is geared toward hospital personnel who would receive contaminated victims for treatment in the case of an event.

By the end of this two-day training the participants will be able to:

  •       Discuss safety, awareness and hazardous response issues from a hospital perspective.

  •       Define at least 5 roles of hospital personnel acting as first receivers in decontamination event.

  •       Demonstrate the ability to conduct a decontamination exercise.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Hospital personnel tasked with disaster related planning, training, and exercises for their facility.
 

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT

Continuing Education Credit has been applied for.
 

WHEN AND WHERE?

Sessions Tentatively scheduled in North Platte, Lincoln and David City
Dates TBA
