On May 22, 2011 an EF-5 tornado hit Joplin, Missouri. In the days that followed, stories surfaced that made all of us involved in disaster preparedness, response and recovery pause and wonder "how did they manage?" and "what if it happened here?" As with other disasters, there are lessons to be learned. On November 15-16, 2011 join medical and public health personnel from Joplin as they tell their stories and help you be better prepared should it happen to your town. View the agenda or print a copy.
