2011 Nebraska Hospital Preparedness Summit

Each year the Center for Preparedness Education and Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services provide an opportunity for representatives from hospitals across the state to come together and learn about hospital preparedness efforts. This year’s agenda includes updates from Center for Preparedness on current activities and umcoming plans for 2012, as well as Exercise Keys, the plans for revision of HICS and other current news.  Ruth Cover will be there to discuss the HHP Grants as well as the Secure Information Sharing Portal for Healthcare.  There will also be time for you to share yourneeds and suggestions.

In order to make it convenient for as many people as possible to attend, this year’s Hospital Preparedness Summit will be held via Telehealth.

Who should attend?

Nebraska Hospital Emergency Preparedness Coordinators or other hospital personnel involved in disaster preparedness for their facility.

1:00 – 3:30 pm (Central)

Registration

There is no registration fee for this Summit however each site will be asked to register their location by clicking on this Register link

and submit a sign-in sheet of all the persons attending at that location.

Handouts will be posted on the netelehealth website one week prior to the event (December 8th) for participants to download.

If you are in the Lincoln area and would like to participate in person, the session will be held at BryanLGH West in Conference Room B, 2300 S 16th Street.
